Dear friends -
For vacation, would you rather go to a national park or on a mission trip? Some friends posed this question to their two elementary aged kids, who immediately responded: MISSION TRIP! The mission trip is to Sisseton, SD, where Chicago Presbytery has a mission partnership with the Dakota Lakota community. The girls been going few summers before the pandemic, including 2019 when a group of us from River Glen joined in with several other Chicago Presbytery church for a week of VBS, construction, worship, fellowship, and fun.
So how about you - national park or mission trip to a beautiful area with a great partnership? River Glen is hoping to send some folks June 18 - 24 to Sisseton in just a few months - wanna join me? You can email interest or questions to myself or Tom Ekin - all ages and households welcome!
