Scouts at River Glen
River Glen is the Charter organization for 2 different Scout groups. We also have multiple other scout groups who use our space for their meetings.
Troop 81 is a scout led troop of about 40 boys with a focus on outdoors: monthly camp-outs, summer-camp, Hi-Adventures. The troop meets on Thursday nights 7:00pm - 8:30pm at River Glen. The troop also helps with a spring cleanup day at River Glen the first Saturday of May. Over 35 Eagle projects have been completed for the benefit of River Glen since the Troop moved to River Glen in 2003. Cub Scouts Pack 125 is a very active Pack of about 20 Scouts, based in Brookdale and Longwood
subdivisions with surrounding areas. Boys and Girls from Kindergarten through 5th grade are
welcome! Our pack has a hiking programing, participates in the Cubscicle and Pinewood Derby,
blasts rockets, creates a carnival and of course CAMPOUTS! We are involved in multiple service
