OUTREACH
At River Glen there are opportunities for all ages to give their time, talents and treasure to serve both inside and outside of our doors. We partner with nonprofits locally and globally.
SERVING INSIDE OUR DOORS
River Glen is an amazing community run by church staff and volunteers of all ages; members can serve "inside" our doors in many ways. Take a look below to find an opportunity that is right for you and your family.
Children's Ministries: teach Sunday school, support VBS, donate supplies
Music: help with the Christmas and Spring musicals, sing in choir or play in bell choir
Care Ministries: create cards for the sick
Fellowship: provide treats (bake or store bought)
Hospitality Team: set-up and clean-up fellowship treats a few Sundays a year,
Communications Team: donate your social media or other marketing skills
Buildings & Grounds: shoveling snow, mowing the grass, caring for the property

SERVING OUTSIDE OUR DOORS
As followers of Jesus, we are called to serve others. We do this by serving outside our doors and by supporting various not-for-profit organizations throughout the world. In the past, the word “Missions” was used to describe this. Through the Serving Outside Our Doors (SOOD) team, we seek to be Jesus’ hands and feet in the world.
