CROP Hunger Walk - Did you know that half of children’s deaths each year are hunger related and that in the United States, 1 in every 5 children suffer from food insecurity? Every October, you’ll find us focused on raising money for our local community and the globe through the CROP Walk – River Glen is thrilled to be one of the top fundraising churches in Naperville #smallbutmighty
Dakota Partnership - The mission of the Dakota Partnership is to build lifelong relationships with the Native Americans living on the reservations in South Dakota and Montana. Each year members of the partnership churches make the journey to these two locations to conduct a children's Vacation Bible School Ministry and repair and renew the churches and structures of the reservations.
Earth Care - River Glen values God’s creation and was founded on principles of good earth stewardship (we love being located on the DuPage River and sharing a property line with the McDowell Grove Forest Preserve). We have been Earth Care certified for our building and congregational practices for several years and just recently re-certified through 2023.
Facing Forward to End Homelessness - Empowering people who are homeless in urban Chicago, Facing Forward supports and connects people to long-term, safe, sustainable housing.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance is the emergency and refugee program of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance focuses on the long-term recovery of disaster impacted communities, provides training and disaster preparedness for presbyteries and synods, works collaboratively with church partners and members of the ACT Alliance (Action by Churches Together) internationally, and nationally with other faith-based responders. It connects partners locally and internationally with key organizations active in the response — United Nations, NVOAD (National Voluntary Agencies Active in Disaster), World Food Program, Red Cross, FEMA and others.
PCUSA Shared Mission - Because they are fully flexible, every dollar contributed to Shared Mission Support allows support for all ministries, and innovation at every level of the Church to serve needs that arise suddenly — in times of pandemic, injustice and disaster. For every season, and every age, the Church is invited, anew, to answer the question of Matthew 25, and, today, act to eradicate systemic poverty, dismantle structural racism and foster congregational vitality.
Riverwalk Adult Day Services - For more than forty years Riverwalk Adult Day Services has carried out their mission to provide a safe, social, stimulating, and affordable environment for adults in need of daytime care in the greater Naperville area. There are two locations, one serving older adults living with a cognitive loss and the other serving younger adults living with conditions such as developmental disability, Down syndrome, and autism.
SamaraCare Counseling - Good mental health is so important, especially in these challenging days. We support this spiritually-integrated counseling center, which provides care to insured and uninsured patients.
