As our summer begins to unfold I find myself wondering what God is up to in the life we share together at River Glen. This summer will be different than any we have experienced recently as we enter a new season of transition. It will be a challenging season for us all, but it holds the promise of being a season of great possibility and adventure. It will be important for us to stay open and expectant during this time as we seek to discern where God is leading us. And it will be important for us to stay grounded in our relationships with Jesus and one another as we navigate the the waters of change. As long as we keep our eyes on Christ as the head of our church and our hearts connected to one another in His love we'll be fine. As scripture says, Christ is before all things and in Him all things hold together (Col 1:17) May it be so for us as we move forward into the future that God has planned for us.

In Christ's love, Pastor Barbara
