Dear friends - This week marks the Feast of St. Francis. We don't celebrate saint feasts in the same way as our Catholic, Episcopal, and Lutheran siblings, but it does give us a chance to be reminded of St. Francis' special care for God's creatures. We River Glenners love our pets, so it's also given us a good reason to do a pet blessing the last several years. Instead of an in-person pet blessing, this weekend, you're invited to post a photo of your pet with your pet's name on the Facebook page (or email it to me), and we'll bless pets virtually with prayers for our furry companions.
