Dear friends –
After an amazing team effort, we hope to be able to live stream worship by the end of the month. If everything continues as planned, we will have limited availability (by reservation only) of in-person worship on April 4 – Easter Sunday while live-streaming to youtube and facebook (new links coming soon). What timing! After a year of mostly pre-recorded worship, live-stream feels a little bit like a pandemic resurrection. You will see many more details in the upcoming weeks, but we wanted to let you know this good news.
A few details. Of course, as you see in the above photo, things will look different. Also, beginning March 26, there will be a link in the enews for reservations, since we are complying with CDC and state recommendations to limit inside gatherings to 50 people. There is no space in the fellowship hall for lingering over coffee – no coffee either. (Reservations for worship? No COFFEE?! ! I know – it’s hard!) In addition to the full Covid-19 Protocols and Guidelines, the Session has a short list of reminders we’ll publicize including masks being worn at all times in the building, physical distancing, and the need for contact tracing forms (either physically filled out when you arrive or filled out thru an online form via a QR code). We aren’t taking temperatures at the door, but we do request you will honor staying home if you’re not feeling well.
I’m thrilled we will be able to have an in-person experience while still offering meaningful worship to those who are at home – this is a huge tech leap in the life of River Glen and amazing fruit from a long year. Keep your eyes posted for more info in the comings weeks.
Grace and peace,
Jess
