Dear friends –
I’m excited about our annual meeting coming up on February 7 (more details in our e-news). While the technical reason for the meeting is so the congregation can do your annual approval of my terms of call, what I’m looking forward to is celebrating the ministry and mission of River Glen. We’ll receive the financial report, which will reflect overall good health financially. This is thanks, in part, to the excellent work of our faithful treasurer, Robert, securing our PPP loan which enabled us to continue to pay staff regardless of hours over the spring and summer and kept us from an essential re-staffing situation many other congregations have experienced during the pandemic. And we’ll receive the annual report – this year, many of the reports will simply list a few highlights of the team’s ministries over the year.
What an unusual year it has been, so celebrating the ways we have adapted and continued in our worship, Christian formation, and outreach is especially important. Good job! Hope to see you there!
