Welcome! And thanks for visiting the River Glen website.
River Glen is a “come as you are” church. You are welcome no matter what.
Whether you are looking for a group of friends, a supportive community, or a place to deepen your faith, River Glen has something to offer.
One of the ways we are a great community of faith to be part of is our hospitality – making space for people to feel comfortable and cared for when we gather together – whether that is for worship on Sunday mornings (10:30) or coffee hour afterward, when gathering for meals, in small groups, Bible study, or other ways we build community and deepen our faith. We are part of a collection of churches called the Presbyterian Church (USA) which work together for mission and ministry to spread hope and God’s love. We believe this kind of connectional church is valuable for spiritual growth and working together for good in the world.
River Glen is a place where adults, youth, and children eagerly learn how to be committed followers of Jesus. You will find an atmosphere of acceptance at River Glen as you ask the questions you need to ask to grow in your faith.
River Glen Presbyterian Church is a progressive church with an intergenerational ministry focus and a heart for service. The congregation is led by the Reverend Jessica Scholten and retired Parish Associate, Barbara Carmichael, as well as our governing board of spiritual leaders, the Session. River Glen is known for its warm welcoming spirit, rich worship, and relevant preaching.
