WORSHIP TEAM
The River Glen worship team is a group of vocalists and instrumentalists that help lead worship every Sunday. The team explores a variety of contemporary musical styles and emphasizes quality and commitment, as well as musical and spiritual growth. They rehearse Thursdays at 7:00 pm. Anyone interested should contact our music director, Joyce Lawson, at Joycelawson@comcast.net.
ADULT CHOIR &BELL CHOIR
The River Glen Adult Choir seeks to offer the best possible music to help enhance Sunday morning worship, while also providing a means of fellowship and support for its members. Anyone who enjoys singing is welcome to participate. The choir sings for worship services once a month, September through May and rehearses Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m.
The River Glen Ringers is our hand bell choir for adults. Minimal music reading experience is necessary to participate with this group, although previous bell ringing is not required. The choir rehearses Wednesdays from 8:00 – 9:00 pm, September through May and rings at our worship service.
CHRISTMAS & SPRING MUSICALS
The Christmas and Spring musicals at River Glen are a great way for children in kindergarten through eighth grade to experience the joy of choir and perform in front of friends, family and members of our community. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday nights for 30 minutes during REV Wednesdays. All children are welcome, so feel free to invite friends to take part even if they are not members of River Glen. The musicals are led by volunteer leaders with music expertise. If you have questions, please contact the office at office@riverglen.org.
As soon as the musical's name and theme are known, it will be posted as an event making it easy to share with friends and family. We look forward to having your children take part.
