What to Expect
Come as you are
It doesn't matter what you wear; just come as you are. The congregation dress ranges from jeans and shorts to what many of us grew up knowing as church clothes. What matters is you, and that you're here.
Bring the kids
Children are always welcome in our midst, especially when we worship. You will find children's bulletins, worship activities bags and books in the back of the sanctuary.
We also offer child care for children ages 3 and under during worship services and the Sunday school hour. A professional child care provider and volunteer members of River Glen care for our children.
During our 8:30 am service, children 4 years through first grade begin worship with their families. After listening to the Message for Young Disciples, a mini-discussion tailored specifically toward them, they are invited downstairs for Faith Explorers and their own worship experience.
