Why walk the CROP Hunger Walk
Why support CROP
Walk to stop hunger
CROP is Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty. Please walk or contribute to the 32nd Annual Naperville Area CROP Walk Sunday, October 16, 1 pm. Walk 1K or 5K (.6 or 3 miles) with your neighbors from different faiths, cultures and ages or sponsor those who walk and help raise awareness. The annual walk helps hungry families locally through the 25% that goes to Loaves and Fishes food pantry and the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the primary food supplier for Loaves and Fishes; and helps families around the world through Church World Service.
What can we accomplish this year to help hungry families?
River Glen Goal — If we raise $3,500, anonymous donors have pledged to add $1,000 for a total of $4,500.
Why walk? Hungry people in developing countries usually walk up to six miles daily to get food, water, and fuel, and to take their goods to market. We walk because they walk—sharing their struggle to exist! Walk to stop hunger!
