Sunday School during Lent has moved to after worship. Join us for lunch following worship and then Sunday School begins at 12:15-1:15 pm. After Easter classes will be held from 9:00 am – 10:00 am. Our Sunday school provides children age 3 through 5th grade the opportunity to learn about the Bible and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Sunday school includes a time for music to learn songs to share with the congregation during services once a month. Children are taught by a team of teachers in various interactive, and large and small group formats using the Deep Blue curriculum to help the children grow in their faith.
Children age 4 through fifth grade are invited to participate in their own worship experience on Sundays. Children begin worship in the sanctuary with their parents. After the Message for Young Disciples, children are invited downstairs for Children’s Worship. This program includes scripture interpretation by a pastor, praise music, and a Christian story led by an elder, deacon or other church leader.
Child care is provided during our Sunday morning worship service as well as during our morning education programs. Children birth through age 3 are lovingly cared for by our paid staff and adult and youth volunteers.
PraiSingers is a choir for children 3 years old through fifth grade and meets each week as part of Sunday school. The choir sings quarterly in worship.
Children in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade are invited to participate in our two annual children’s musicals. One presented in the spring and the second during Advent.
